Fake it till you make it” (also called “act as if“) is a common catchphrase that means to imitate confidence so that as the confidence produces success, it will generate real confidence.[1] The purpose is to avoid getting stuck in a self-fulfilling prophecy related to one’s fear of not being confident, e.g., by thinking (Thank you, Wikipedia).

PR girl and fashion fanatic. I’m obsessed with finding ways to look stylish without breaking the bank! My personal style is defined by how I can achieve the latest trends by spending the least about of money. Since I’m living the college dream, I like to strategically plan my paychecks and Christmas presents so that I can look like I have it all, but really…I’m just fakin’ it til I make it!
